The newly renovated Greater Palm Harbor Branch, located in beautiful downtown Palm Harbor FL, located minutes from the Gulf of Mexico beaches, is seeking an experienced leader as its next Executive Director. Serving the community for over 20 years, the facility has 2 outdoor pools, a large wellness center, outdoor basketball/pickleball courts, outdoor sports field and several studios and classrooms for all types of programs. In 2024 the branch added approximately 10,000 square foot of program space including a large fieldhouse. The branch also renovated interior space to include a new Kids Zone, locker rooms and the Advent Health Power Zone. The branch is an integral part of the community with several key partnerships with community organizations. swim lessons, summer camp, group exercise, Evidence Based Wellness programs and so much more. The branch has an advisory council who are committed to our Philanthropic and Community Development work. The Association and Branch are impacting the community with a focus on Healthy Living, Youth Development, and Social Responsibility.

Bachelor's degree in human services, social services, business or equivalent preferred. 4+ years of YMCA Branch experience is preferred. Ability to direct total operations through volunteer development, supervision of staff, development and monitoring of branch budget, marketing and public relations, and program development. Experience in management and development of volunteer involvement; ability to recruit top community leaders. Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community. Proven track record of developing authentic relationships with others. Ability to establish and maintain collaborations with community organizations. Strong writing, verbal and presentation skills. Must meet YMCA of the Suncoast driving criteria. Physical and mental requirements include considerable sitting, standing, walking, written and verbal communication, and an ability to handle stress and multiple priorities.
YMCA Multi-Team or Branch Leader certification preferred.
