The YMCA of Metropolitan Chattanooga operates on annual revenues of $23M per year. We are a YMCA focused on strengthening our long-term capacity to serve our region, and we know that we must be able to respond creatively to the challenging demands of our stakeholders.
The YMCA of Metropolitan Chattanooga operates four family branches, one resident camp, three Y-CAP locations and two community branches serving 120 program sites in five counties including North Georgia. We have nearly 1,000 staff team members serving program members and participants across our footprint. Job Description
Under the supervision of the President and CEO, the CFO is responsible for the development, analysis, and implementation of the strategies that strengthen the asset base of the Association regarding all revenue sources, fund investment, and properties. This would include operations; investment portfolios; developing capital financing programs; supervision of the Association’s capital development and construction programs; developing a variety of facility models and analysis for service delivery; and ensuring risk controls, risk management, purchasing and conducting annual audits in a way to ensure the fiscal viability of the Association.
Resource Developer: Tells the YMCA story in a compelling way that influences others to donate both time and resources to support the YMCA mission and strategy. Staff must be able to articulate how the YMCA is a charitable organization.
Mission Advancement: Incorporates theY’s mission and values into the organization’s vision and strategies. Ensures community engagement; promotes the global nature of the Y. Leads a culture of volunteerism ensuring engagement, inclusion, ownership, and leads a culture of philanthropy.
Collaboration: Advocates for and institutionalizes inclusion and diversity throughout the organization. Initiates the development of relationships with influential leaders to impact and strengthen the community. Recognized as an inspirational community leader who navigates complex political and social circles with ease. Communicates to engage and inspire people within and outside the YMCA.
