Qualifications

Must be 21 or older. 

YMCA experience preferred.

A Bachelor's Degree in related field, or 3-5 years experience, is ideal.

Complete Child ABuse Prevention for Supervisory Staff within 30 days of hire. 

Organized and Efficient. Must be able to plan, organize, and maintain records to keep programs running smoothly.

Strong Leadership Skills. Must be able to train, supervisoe, and evaluate staff while effectively managing programs. 

Must have a warm and friendly personality with a love for interacting with members. 

Personal Trainer? That's a huge plus!

Essential Functions

Design new activities and grow our programs in the community, bringing fresh energy to every event!

Keep programs running smoothly while meeting financial goals.

Help organize YMCA fundraising events and special activities that make a real difference.

Coordinate facility use for events, activities, and special programs.

Build strong relationships with local organizations to expand our impact.

Help market programs, organize registrations, and get the community excited to participate!

Recruit, hire, train, and inspire staff and volunteers to bring their best every day.

 Evaluate staff performance, provide encouragement, and create strategies to achieve goals together.

Address member and community questions with a friendly and helpful approach.

Foster strong relationships with parents and caregivers for a supportive program environment.

Track program participation and evaluate effectiveness to keep improving and growing!
