Job Description
Do you have a passion for helping people with their health and wellness goals? Are you able to lead a team and provide encouragement and inspiration to both health seekers and your team members? If the answer is YES then you should consider joining the YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas as our Personal Training Director. This person will lead our health and wellness staff, and will seek to drive the achievement of fitness goals of members participating in personal training through the development of personal trainers as well as working to engage members in improving their overall wellness by collaborating with all departments.
Qualifications
- At least one year of experience leading and managing a team of fitness professionals
- Experience in coaching and developing staff, fostering growth, and promoting a culture of accountability
- Hands-on experience developing and implementing personalized fitness plans for a full roster of clients
- Must have demonstrated experience in attracting and retaining members through relationship building and effective marketing strategies.
- Must have a keen business sense and understand the dynamics of human behavior change.
- Must be familiar with current fitness trends.
- Must have a current, NCCA accredited personal training certification.
