Job Description

Under the direction of the Chief Operating Officer, this position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The Marketing & Development Coordinator will support both the Marketing and Development Departments with day-to-day administrative support. The ideal candidate needs to be efficient, well-organized with the ability to multi-task, while working in a fast pace environment.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent.
  • Three-plus years of experience in administrative work.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Essential Functions
  • Support and assist the Marketing & Development Department with day to day operations to include but not limited to ordering department supplies, working with vendors, fulfilling marketing requests, picking up and delivering of marketing collateral to YMCA Centers, processing purchase orders, following up on invoices, payments and returning phone calls and emails.
  • Responsible for processing and recording all donations and assisting in the processing of donation requests and tax letters.
  • Enter all pertinent information into CRM and other platforms utilized by both departments and generate reports as needed.
  • Be able to assist and provide project support for both departments.
  • Provides excellent customer service by establishing and maintaining effective relationships with members, supervisors, peers, fellow employees, and the public to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
