Under the direction of the Senior Vice President of Family Center Operations, the Vice President of District Operations leads the overall operations of a district of Y Family Centers, directly supervising Executive Directors. This role ensures the Y’s mission is effectively carried out in the communities served, demonstrating core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility at all times.
Bachelor's degree in business administration, human services, exercise science, or related field.
Minimum of seven years of experience managing multiple Y Family Centers or equivalent health and wellness operation.
Proven experience in membership and program development, associates leadership, financial management, board engagement, and building strong community partnerships.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for the district of Y Family Centers. Lead the growth of membership, revenue, and operating margin across the district, achieving or exceeding both top-line (revenue) and bottom-line (surplus) targets. Anticipate and address budget variances with proactive strategies.
Oversee strategic planning to drive long-term growth and operational success, aligning with Association goals.
Relentlessly focused on operational efficiency and effectiveness, driving results through a disciplined, no-nonsense approach.
Ensure delivery of high-quality services and member satisfaction while upholding the Y’s established policies.
Committed to fostering a culture of accountability, empowerment, and growth by mentoring and coaching teams. Focuses on aligning associates with the Y’s mission and values to consistently deliver exceptional results and drive a culture of excellence.
Recruit, hire, and develop associates to build a thriving, inclusive work environment, ensuring employees are effectively trained and supported.
Develop and manage the district’s operating budget, aligning with organizational priorities for fiscal responsibility.
Ensures the safety and maintenance of high quality facilities, grounds, and equipment of all facilities in the district.
Serve as a member of the Executive Leadership Team, contributing to the broader objectives of the Association.
Collaborate with the Community Advisory Board (CAB) to enhance community engagement and development.
Champion a culture of philanthropy within the district, working with the development team to increase member contributions to support the Y’s mission.
