The Association Manager, Marketing - Website/In-Center is responsible for managing the YMCA’s website and in-center marketing initiatives to enhance member engagement, program participation, and program awareness. This role focuses on maintaining the website, digital content, and in-center communications as part of the omni-channel experience, while ensuring consistency with the YMCA’s mission and brand standards. The Manager collaborates with internal teams and external vendors to deliver cohesive and impactful marketing strategies.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, digital media, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in website management, digital marketing, or in-center communications.
• This is an in-office
• Proficiency in content management systems (e.g., WordPress), digital analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics), and graphic design software.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
• Familiarity with creating and managing digital content and in-center marketing materials.
• Knowledge of user experience (UX) design principles and website optimization strategies.
• Experience managing budgets and ensuring cost-effective marketing solutions.
• Ability to analyze data and apply insights to improve marketing outcomes.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
All YMCA team members are expected to maintain a current and active status for all safety, risk, and programming certifications defined by the YMCA of Greater Charlotte.
• Manage and maintain the YMCA website, ensuring up-to-date, accurate, and engaging content aligned with organizational goals.
• Develop and implement in-center marketing strategies to enhance member experience, optimizing in-center journey for the right message, in the right place, at the right time
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure consistent branding across digital and in-center platforms.
• Provide training and support to staff on using digital tools and in-center marketing resources effectively.
• Oversee the creation of digital and in-center content, including banners, flyers, and interactive displays, to promote programs and events.
• Establish website KPIs and coordinate update/enhancements, ensuring optimal functionality and user experience
• Collaborate with program directors to align digital and in-center marketing efforts with program goals and community needs.
• Partner with external vendors for technical support and creative services to deliver high-quality marketing materials.
• Using website analytics and in-center marketing metrics to evaluate performance and
demonstrate thought leadership to deliver a best-in-class website and in-center experience.
• Manage budgets related to digital and in-center marketing initiatives, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation.
Working Conditions
• Regularly required to use a computer for extended periods of time and be able to communicate
using a computer and phone/smart device.
• This is an in-office role, candidates must be willing to work in-office five days/week.
• Frequently required to sit and reach and must be able to move around the work environment.
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust.
