The Y offers four different types of day camps that all offer opportunities for your child to make friends, have fun and discover what they’re passionate about. As a YMCA Summer Camp Counselor you are responsible for the successful implementation and delivery of our camp activities. This is a seasonal position that starts at the end of May and runs through mid-August.

We conduct a comprehensive background check for all employees who work with children and youth.
High school diploma or GED required.
At least 18 years of age.
1-year experience working with children in a day camp setting preferred.
Experience with outdoor recreation, songs/music, skits, sports, aquatics, games, etc.
Ability to work effectively work with people of different backgrounds, abilities, opinions and perceptions.
