Job Description

Provides individual 1:1 clinical supervision to MHT I, CFT I and graduate interns; provides clinical consultation and support to mental health staff and interns as needed. Facilitate and/or coordinate clinical group supervision. Organizes and executes onboarding of clinical staff and ongoing staff development training and workshops. Provides clinical expertise and guidance for site staff and MCPS program meetings. Maintains small caseload of families for therapy as needed.

Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in social work, clinical counseling, marriage and family therapy, or psychology.
  • 2-3 years of clinical supervision experience.
  • Active State of Maryland LCSW-C, LCPC, or LCMFT license.
  • Board Approved Supervisor status in Maryland.
Essential Functions
  • Provide Individual Supervision: Support and guide provisionally licensed therapists in their professional journey.
  • Facilitate Group Supervision: Lead engaging group sessions that enhance team learning and development.
  • Onboard and Train: Organize onboarding for new clinical staff and deliver ongoing training workshops to ensure professional growth.
  • Deliver Therapy: Maintain a small caseload, offering individual, family, and group counseling as needed.
  • Ensure Compliance: Help uphold the highest standards of clinical practice in line with COMAR, CARF, and HIPAA regulations.
  • Administration: Reviews and monitors therapists’ documentation and charting for quality, completeness, and timeliness, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries. Reviews daily case logs to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Programming: Assists the Clinical Director by monitoring YFS therapists to ensure adherence to DHHS program guidelines, contractual requirements, and COMAR regulations.
Required Certifications
  • Master’s degree in social work, clinical counseling, marriage and family therapy, or psychology.
  • 2-3 years of clinical supervision experience.
  • Active State of Maryland LCSW-C, LCPC, or LCMFT license.
  • Board Approved Supervisor status in Maryland.
