Job Description

The Administrative Technician for Camp provides high-level administration support to the Camp Operations in areas of registration, fundraising, marketing and in-general member experience.

Qualifications
  • A minimum of two years’ experience providing administrative assistance support required.
  • High School diploma required; some college coursework preferred.
  • Proven communication skills with strong written, verbal, and digital media.
  • Superior internal and external customer service experience required. 
  • Ability to be prompt, punctual, and professional with camper families' communications.
  • Basic understanding of current and common professional computer software. We will teach you what you need to know but comfort learning how to navigate software is a must.
  • Demonstrated skills in event planning, time management, flexibility, organization, and independent work proficiency.
  • Advanced proficiency of office equipment and computer skills using Microsoft Office & Adobe Suites and similar software.
Essential Functions
  • Manages camp databases and software to create and support member and program registration data and records and keeps information accurate.
  • Field, answer or redirect member concerns and questions to deepen their relationship with the Y cause.
  • Assists and coordinates registration, donor relations, cultivation, acknowledgements and stewardship efforts for Camp.
  • Serve as reviewer of materials in partnership with Marketing Communications (“MarCom”) team to ensure intent, brand alignment and accuracy of details.
  • Supports Camp Operations in all aspects of operations including calendar and meetings, arrangements, correspondence project management, supplies, files, etc.
  • Acts as a liaison between leadership staff and/or all staff, volunteers and members for Camp as directed.
  • Uses direction and independent judgment in handling confidential and sensitive information.
