Job Description

The YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth is looking for 3 new leaders to join the team and support the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.  The Strategic Admin Aide is a person who will work under the direction an assigned C-Suite Officers (Finance, Strategy & Marketing or Human Resources) and contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications

Education & Certifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required (some college preferred).

Experience & Background: High energy, positive, "can-do" attitude, flexibility, teamwork, attention to detail and high degree of initiative and follow through will help this candidate be successful.  Exceptional written and verbal communications skills along with excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills will be needed by this candidate.  Must be proficient in Microsoft, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams and be knowledgeable with technology to assist with specific apps and software programs.

Essential Functions
  1. Provide high-level administrative support to the C-Suite Officer, including managing schedules, organizing meetings, and preparing agendas and meeting minutes. Prepare and edit correspondence, presentations, and reports as needed. Coordinate travel arrangements for the C-Suite Officer and other team members as required.
  2. Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of special projects and initiatives for the focus area team (Finance, Strategy & Marketing or Human Resources). Monitor project timelines and deliverables, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and within established deadlines. Collaborate with team members across departments to ensure successful project outcomes.
  3. Conduct research and analysis on various topics to support the C-Suite Officer and the team in decision-making processes. Assist in developing (or delivering on?) strategic plans and objectives for the YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth. Help monitor progress toward strategic goals and provide updates to the C-Suite Officer and their team.
  4. Serve as a liaison between the C-Suite Officer and internal/external stakeholders, including board members, community partners, and YMCA staff. Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality. Draft and distribute internal and external communications as directed by the C-Suite Officer.
  5. Assist with the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and best practices for the C-Suite Officer’s team. Support high-value activities and initiatives to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Provide general support to other departments as needed to ensure smooth operations across the organization.
  6. Plan and coordinate events such as board and committee meetings, retreats, and other special events as directed by the C-Suite Officer. Oversee event logistics, including venue selection, catering, and attendee coordination.
  7. Stay informed of industry trends and best practices relevant to the role and the YMCA's mission.
  8. Perform other duties as assigned by the C-Suite Officer or other leadership team members.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

The YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth offers a competitive salary and benefits package for selected candidates.

The salary range for this position is $16-$20/hr and will be commensurate with the selected candidates experience.
