Camp Description

Bynden Wood Day Camp is the day camp program at South Mountain YMCA Camps, where summer days are filled with outdoor adventure, creativity, and connection. Nestled on 600 acres of forested mountaintop, our campers explore nature, build friendships, and grow in confidence — all under the guidance of caring, dedicated staff.

Campers experience everything from swimming and hiking to arts & crafts, archery, and team-building games. Every week brings a new theme, fresh energy, and the kind of memories that stick for a lifetime. At Bynden Wood, we believe that every child deserves a safe space to be themselves, try new things, and just be a kid.
