We are seeking a Service Delivery Director to lead and oversee the Wellness department.
Job Description

The YMCA of Greater Richmond is currently seeking a full-time, highly motivated, mission-driven, team-oriented professional to serve as our Service Delivery Director. We are seeking a Service Delivery Director to lead and oversee the Wellness department, which includes the supervision of full-time and part-time staff. A primary continued focus of this role will be the growth of wellness base and overall branch membership, aiming to enhance our community impact and organizational reach.

Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in a wellness-related field is preferred. At least one year of related experience in wellness management is required. Experience managing group exercise and as a certified personal trainer is preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal abilities and computer proficiency are necessary. The ability to effectively coach staff is essential. Candidates must be able to train and evaluate staff on proper exercise instruction.

Certifications:
CPR/AED/First Aid preferred
National Personal Training certification such as ACSM, ACE, and CSCS preferred
ACE or AFAA Group Exercise certification preferred

Essential Functions

Lead the Wellness department, developing and expanding initiatives that promote healthy living and engagement within the community.

Be a partner to other branch departments to ensure seamless integration and collaboration in the member experience/journey.

Oversee wellness programs to ensure a high-quality member experience and consistent program delivery.

Drive participation growth in wellness programs, focusing on recruitment, retention, and member satisfaction.

Supervise and mentor part-time staff, promoting a positive, team-oriented culture.

Manage departmental budgets and ensure financial sustainability while meeting key performance metrics.

Build strong relationships with members, community partners, and stakeholders.

This is a hands-on position that will require afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
