The YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth impacts lives every day through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The Youth Recreation Director plays a vital leadership role at the Northwest YMCA, overseeing all aspects of Day Camp and Youth Sports programming. This position requires strong leadership and organizational skills, a passion for youth development, and an understanding of the services and relationships needed to meet the needs of a growing and diverse community.
This leader will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating high-quality recreational experiences for youth that focus on safety, engagement, and skill-building in a values driven environment. Our programs aim to instill confidence, teamwork, and resilience in children through play, exploration, and meaningful relationships.
We are looking for a dynamic and mission-driven leader who will collaborate with staff, families, and community partners to continue building impactful programs that reflect the heart of the YMCA.
Current Program Scope
Summer Day Camp serves approximately 160 campers daily across three locations, supported by a team of 40+ staff.
Youth Sports program engages over 1000 youth annually, supported by 25+ part time staff, officials and volunteer coaches.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
The YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Woth offers a competitive salary and benefits package for selected candidates.
The yearly salary range for this position is $48,000 - $52,000 and will be commensurate with the selected candidates experience.
