The YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth seeks a passionate and strategic professional to join our team as the Association Director of Impact Funding. This individual will play a critical role in the organization's philanthropic efforts, working closely with the President & CEO and reporting to the Chief of Staff. The Director will be responsible for grant writing, monitoring, compliance, and providing support for other impact funding initiatives. The position will be based in the YMCA Association Resource Office, which plays a vital role in ensuring the success and sustainability of our programs and services.

The YMCA Association Resource Office is the central hub for support and resources for the entire YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth. By housing essential functions such as philanthropy, communications, and people and program development, the Association Resource Office ensures that all branches of the YMCA can effectively deliver high-quality programs and services that align with our mission and values.

his centralized support structure enables the organization to maximize its impact on the community, improve operational efficiency, and foster collaboration among staff and volunteers. As a member of the YMCA Association Resource Office team, the Director of Impact Funding will play a critical role in securing necessary resources to sustain and grow our programs, ultimately enabling the YMCA to better serve the children, families, and communities of Fort Worth and surrounding areas. Qualifications

EDUCATION

  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field; Master's degree preferred AND/OR qualified experiences in the field.

EXPERIENCE & BACKGROUND

  • This position requires an individual with proven operational leadership who can adapt to a continually evolving environment.
  • At least five years of experience in grant writing, fundraising, or related field preferably within a non-profit organization.
  • Proven track record of securing grants and other funding opportunities from a variety of sources, including foundations, corporations, and government agencies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling and persuasive grant proposals and reports.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Familiarity with fundraising software, databases, and other tools for tracking and managing grants and donor relationships.
  • Commitment to the mission and values of the YMCA, with a passion for positively impacting the lives of children, families, and communities.
Essential Functions
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive impact funding strategy, identifying new funding opportunities and cultivating relationships with potential donors, foundations, and government agencies.
  • Write, submit, and manage grant proposals, ensuring all applications are accurate, compelling, and compliant with funder requirements and deadlines.
  • Monitor and track grant deliverable, financials, and performance, ensuring all reporting requirements are met, and funds are utilized effectively and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to gather necessary information, data, and reports for grant applications and reporting.
  • Maintain an up-to-date grants calendar, including deadlines, requirements, and reporting schedules.
  • Assist the President & CEO in developing and implementing fundraising strategies, events and campaigns, as needed.
  • Provide regular updates and progress reports to the Chief of Staff and other senior leadership on impact funding initiatives and outcomes.
  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and changes in funding opportunities, sharing relevant information with the YMCA team to inform and improve our strategies.
  • Represent the YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth at community events, meetings, and conferences, as needed, to enhance the organization's visibility and relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of YMCA programs, services, and mission, ensuring that all grant proposals and funding initiatives align with the organization's strategic goals and values.
  • Collaborate with the communications team to develop and disseminate impact stories, showcasing the positive outcomes of funded programs and services to internal and external audiences.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment by modeling YMCA values, actively participating in team meetings, and supporting colleagues as needed.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
The YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Woth offers a competitive salary and benefits package for selected candidates.

The yearly salary range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000 and will be commensurate with the selected candidates experience.
