The Gateway Region YMCA is looking for a motivated individual for their Learning and Engagement Specialist.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Two or more years related experience in data analysis, survey software, data visualizations or reporting, and/or leadership development
  • Understanding of basic survey data concepts and software including experience reading or analyzing qualitative and quantitative survey data, assessing satisfaction, NPS
  • A background in leadership development, training, learning, or staff/consumer engagement preferred
  • Experience with standard business software and office

Essential Functions

Leadership Development Programming

  • Conducts research for the bimonthly Training Tuesday email, which provides educational content and training and development opportunities for Gateway Region staff. Designs Training Tuesday email copy and graphics, and sends via Daxko Engage each month.
  • Manages monthly New Employee Orientation program logistics, including sending invitation emails and calendar invitations, reserving space, ordering food and beverage, ordering gifts, tracking attendance, and facilitating the orientations.
  • Will be responsible for implementing new part-time orientation plan once it has been developed as part of the Associations’ strategic plan.
  • Partners with the Senior Director of Learning & Engagement in the planning and management of the bi-annual All Staff Conference, which may include scheduling committee planning meetings, taking notes, coordinating vendor contracts, designing itineraries, event set-up and tear-down.
  • Organizes the annual Emerging Leaders Cohort Program which includes updating program documents, reserving space, class setup & teardown, coordinating with trainers and cohort participants, etc.


Gateway Region YMCA Learning Champion

  • Serves as an expert in the national YMCA of the USA Leadership Development Program and acts as a consult to local
  • Gateway Region YMCA staff on all leadership development opportunities available to them through the Program.
  • Serves as the Administrator for the Learning and Career Development Center (LCDC), a national LMS. Responsible for creating local Gateway Region YMCA courses in the system, partnering with the Regional Training and Employee
  • Experience Manager, troubleshooting issues in LCDC and LINK, and pulling reports for the Association.
  • Coordinates with the local Gateway Region YMCA trainers and faculty as well as the Regional Training and Employee
  • Experience Manager to plan YUSA courses for the Gateway Region each year.
  • Serves as the Sub-Administrator in LinkedIn Learning and is responsible for adding and removing Gateway Region Y staff to this system. Also responsible for creating learning paths, collections, and campaigns.


Data Analysis

  • Serves as Administrator for the survey software system,
  • Helps analyze Gateway Region Y engagement survey qualitative data for staff and
  • Responsible for all program surveys which includes but is not limited to Swim Lessons, Youth Sports, Y Club, and Camp.
  • Will partner with Program Management Team (PMT) leads to create and send surveys in a timely manner, and is responsible for analyzing and presenting survey data.
  • Creates personalized survey data reports for all interested stakeholders, which may include filtering data, designing/refining data visualization graphics, organizing and sharing survey reports, adhering to data privacy measures, etc.
  • Supports all other Leadership Development Department programs, trainings, and events including but not limited to Great Academy courses, Articulate360 course creation, etc.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned
