Job Description

You will keep our network shipshape and secure, from troubleshooting pesky problems to implementing security upgrades! Your days will be spent monitoring potential security threats, vulnerability assessments, support maintenance of on-premises telecommunication, coordinate infrastructure changes, and more. You'll also be the friendly face of IT support, helping our staff with tickets and other issues.

Qualifications
  • A solid understanding of network infrastructure, protocols, hardware, software, and network security best practices.

  • Microsoft Certification or at least 3-5 years' work experience in the computer field.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to drive to various YMCA branches or locations.

Essential Functions
  • Monitor XDR and SIEM for potential security threats.
  • Configure firewall policies, network traffic rules, and network segmentation.
  • Assist with SD-WAN and internet availability of branch sites.
  • Assist with patch management, vulnerability assessments, and remediate risks.
  • Help support Azure cloud infrastructure and Office365 tenant.
  • Assist maintaining on-premises telecommunication, VOIP, and digital phone systems.
  • Aid user account lifecycle and permissions in MRM and Active Directory.
  • Assist with installing and maintaining NVR camera systems and wireless access points.
  • Work with vendors to support and coordinate infrastructure changes.
  • Aid level 1 support helpdesk tickets.
  • Mount, configure, and troubleshoot on-premises infrastructure equipment.
  • Provide support for Mobile Device Management (MDM) related issues.
  • Participate in on-site visits to ensure optimum operation of all systems.
  • Collaborate with Information Technology team members to resolve issues.
  • Receive and respond to incoming calls, tickets, and /or emails regarding desktop problems.
  • Provide one-on-one computer and device training as needed.
